Georgia's next list of athletes is in Indianapolis at the NFL Combine this week in hopes of improving their draft stock. Players have been meeting with the media and most will measure in and participate in workouts. One of those players is cornerback Kelee Ringo, a player who many are expecting to put on a strong showing this week.

Leading up to the combine, Ringo spent time training with a former player who knows a thing or two about playing cornerback at a high level to help prepare him for the next chapter of his career. That player is none other than Richard Sherman, a long-time veteran at the professional level. The former Bulldog discussed what it has been like training with the former NFL great and how beneficial it has been for him.

Here is what Ringo had to say:

Young players who make the transition from college to the NFL can often struggle with adapting to the pace of the game. However, Ringo mentions that Sherman does a great job of helping slow down the game and how intelligent the former pro is when it comes to playing the position. All are great things for a soon-to-be rookie to learn at an early stage of his career.

As a Bulldog, Ringo started for two seasons at Georgia and helped the program capture back-to-back national titles. In those two seasons, Ringo racked up 76 total tackles, three tackles for loss and four interceptions. One of those interceptions helped Georgia seal the deal against Alabama in the 2021 national championship game, as Ringo took it all the way to the house to lift the Bulldogs over the Tide.

Ringo is expected to take the field at the combine event on Friday along with former teammates Christopher Smith and kicker Jack Podlesney.
