Georgia Signees Make Big Jump in Final ESPN 300

Georgia's already top-ranked class got a bump in ESPN's final rankings of the year.

Following December's Early Signing Period, Georgia had pretty much wrapped up the nation's top class, securing Kirby Smart's third top-ranked class since arriving at Georgia.

Following multiple high school all-star games and camps, some of Georgia signees have received bumps in their rankings, boosting the Bulldogs' already No. 1 class.

ESPN released their final ESPN 300 for the 2024 class on Tuesday. Among the updates was a big bump for linebacker Chris Cole (Salem High School, VA), who earned his fifth star, joining fellow Bulldogs Justin Williams, K.J. Bolden, and Ellis Robinson IV among Georgia's 5-star signees. Georgia was the only team with four 5-stars and the only team with four players in the top 25.

Speaking of linebacker Justin Williams (Oak Ridge High School, TX), already a 5-star, he jumped from No. 14 to No. 7 nationally and finished as the highest-ranked linebacker in ESPN's rankings. That gives Georgia the No. 1 overall linebacker, the No. 1 overall corner (Ellis Robinson IV), and the No. 1 overall safety (K.J. Bolden) in the class.

Other notes: Former Georgia commit and Nebraska signee Dylan Raiola fell to No. 11 in the rankings after being the nation's top quarterback prospect for much of his recruitment: Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin and Florida signee D.J. Lagway both jumped Raiola, with Lagway finishing as the class's top quarterback, per ESPN.
