Updated ACC Baseball Standings After Sunday's Games (3/25)

Another week has gone by in ACC Baseball and there has been movement in the standings once again.
With a chance to make a statement this weekend, Georgia Tech floundered against North Carolina and was swept in Chapel Hill. The Tar Heels announced themselves as one of the top teams in the conference, but they are not at the top of the ACC Coastal Division after this past week. That would be Virginia Tech, who is 18-4 and 8-1 so far in ACC play. The Hokies swept Boston College this weekend and they will be big favorites to beat Pitt next weekend.
Virginia and Miami are next in the standings and the Cavaliers got a sweep over Pitt while the Hurricanes lost two of three vs Notre Dame. The Cavaliers are a team to watch going forward.
Duke is a team that is supposed to be one of the ACC’s best this season, but they just lost two of three vs NC State, a team that was just swept by Georgia Tech. The Blue Devils are talented, but had a disappointing weekend.
Pitt remains at the bottom of the conference with a 1-8 record after being swept.
The big series this weekend pitted Clemson against an 18-0 Florida State team and the Tigers came away with a sweep and announcing themselves as the front-runner in the ACC right now. It was a terrific performance vs the Seminoles over the weekend and they will face Miami this weekend.
NC State bounced back from getting swept against Georgia Tech by getting two of three vs Duke over the weekend. The Wolfpack could still be a factor in the ACC. Wake Forest got a series win over Louisville, Notre Dame surprised Miami, and Boston College was swept by Virginia Tech.
