Georgia Tech slips in the standings after series loss to Boston College

After a series loss to Boston College, Georgia Tech has found itself lower in the standings than they were last week.

The Yellow Jackets were in third place in the ACC Coastal heading into their series against the Eagles, but are now tied for fourth with Duke.

Virginia and Miami are tied atop the Coastal, with an 8-4 record in conference play. The Hurricanes swept Florida State over the weekend, while the Cavaliers actually lost two out of three against Virginia Tech.

UVA and Miami play each other this weekend.

North Carolina replaces Tech in third place in the division with a 6-4 record and they travel to Atlanta to play GT this weekend. UNC took two of three from Notre Dame this past weekend.

Duke and Tech are tied for 4th place in the division, with identical 6-6 records in conference play. Duke won their series against Pitt over the weekend.

Pitt (4-6) and Virginia Tech make up the bottom of the ACC Coastal. Pitt plays Notre Dame this weekend.

In the Atlantic Division, Wake Forest is still on top with a 10-2 record and just swept Clemson on the road. Boston College is at 8-4 in conference play and just won their series against Georgia Tech.

Wake plays NC State this weekend, while Boston College is matched up with Louisville.

Louisville is third in the division, but with a sub.500 record in conference play at 4-5. Both NC State and Notre Dame are 5-7 and Florida State (3-9) and Clemson (2-7) are at the bottom.
