2025 Three-Star Cornerback Jaylen "Hollywood" Bell Set To Visit Georgia Tech On Saturday
After decommitting from the LSU early Friday morning, 2025 cornerback Jaylen Bell announced he would be at Georgia Tech this Saturday. The Yellow Jackets will be the first campus he visits after reopening his commitment.
According to 247Sports Composite, Bell is a three-star prospect, ranked No.383 nationally, the No. 40 cornerback and the No.44 player in Georgia. This is a player where rankings are not critically important. Just roll the tape and you will be very impressed with his skill set. There is a different type of energy and magnetism about Bell, and he has a great feel for the game.
Bell is a physical ball-hawking corner who is capable of matching up against the opposing team’s best player. He is one of the select few corners that you can put on an island by himself and he will thrive. He can play any coverage that you ask of him including off coverage, press zone, or cover 3. It doesn't matter what you throw in front of him because he will excel.
He was part of a great Grayson Rams defense that pitched three shutouts in 2023 and held teams to an average of 17 points a game. Bell earned second-team all-region honors this past season.
Bell holds a plethora of offers notably from South Carolina, Auburn, Miami, Georgia, Florida State, and more. Bell initially received an offer from Georgia Tech back in 2021 and will look to build relationships with head coach Brent Key and their new defensive coordinator Tyler Santucci. It will also be interesting to see what kind of relationship Bell can cultivate and create with new defensive back coach Cory Peoples, who was hired yesterday from Georgia State.
A lot of schools will be hot on his trail after his decommitment, but the Yellow Jackets will get an opportunity to leave a first impression before the other schools start calling and welcoming Bell on campus. He is a can't-miss prospect and would be a great addition to the program with his dynamic ability on the back end of the defense. He has improved every year he has been on the Grayson Rams defense and will have a big senior season in 2024.
