Georgia Tech just landed a massive commitment for its 2024 class.

CJ Jackson, who plays at Tucker High School in Georgia, committed to the Yellow Jackets today, making him the highest-rated commit in the Yellow Jackets 2024 class.

Jackson is rated a four-star prospect on the 247Sports Composite, the No. 204 player in the country, and the No. 29 player in the state of Georgia. He held big-time offers from schools such as Alabama, LSU, Florida, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas A&M, and Tennessee, among others

This is a huge get for Brent Key and the Yellow Jackets coaching staff. Jackson is not only a highly-rated prospect, but one in the state of Georgia, and keeping those guys home is going to be vital for Georgia Tech. There are still some targets on the board for this staff in the state and they are hoping to close on them

Jackson is an athletic player off the edge at 6'3 225 LBS and he has the tools to be the next star pass rusher in Atlanta. He is the 18th commitment in Georgia Tech's class.

Before this commitment, Georgia Tech's recruiting class was ranked 30th on 247Sports and 20th on Rivals.
