Four Star Wide Receiver Nick Marsh Will Take an Official Visit to Georgia Tech This Weekend
Georgia Tech is reportedly going to get a visit from four-star wide receiver Nick Marsh this weekend.
According to Allen Trieu of 247Sports, the Michigan State State commit is going to be in Atlanta this weekend to see Georgia Tech take on No. 17 North Carolina. Marsh also has an official visit to see Colorado and Deion Sanders.
2026 quarterback Bryson Riggins is also one of the prospects who will be in attendance this weekend.
This is big news for Georgia Tech. Marsh would be the highest-rated player in the 2024 class if Brent Key and the Yellow Jackets can get him on board. One thing about Georgia Tech that should appeal to Marsh is the success of Eric Singleton Jr. Singleton has been one of the best true freshmen in the country and looks like a future star.
Marsh is ranked the 109th overall prospect in the country, the No. 19 wide receiver, and the No. 3 player in the state of Michigan according to the 247Sports Composite. His other offers include Penn State, Miami, Kansas, Arkansas, Auburn, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Tennessee, UCLA, and Wisconsin, among others.
Here is the scouting report on Marsh, courtesy of 247 Sports analyst Gabe Brooks:
"Big-bodied outside receiver who wins with physical superiority, and increasingly often with athleticism. Showed improvement as a junior in linear acceleration and top-end speed. Legitimately 6-foot-3, 200 pounds with a big catch radius and natural high-pointing acumen. Plays strong when the ball is in the air and after the catch. Dangerous contested-throw combatant. Combines physical traits with body control and adjustment ability to make difficult throws in coverage and along boundaries. Three-sport athlete with track and field experience and bouncy basketball context. Will drop the hammer on top of your head in the open floor or if given the lane. Can improve lateral fluidity and twitch, and combine testing reflects that. Plays a bit tight through the lower half, resulting in gear-down when redirecting in open-field situations. Displays promising short-to-intermediate leveraging of DBs, but will need to enhance close-quarters agility to enhance late-separation consistency. Year-over-year field and testing speeds are promising as he continues to add more juice to his top gear. Possesses the size, athleticism, and multi-sport profile that projects very well in the long term. Traitsy mismatch wideout with high-major impact potential and the ceiling to develop into an NFL Draft candidate."
Georgia Tech's 2024 recruiting class is currently ranked 32nd on 247Sports.
