Georgia Tech makes the top five for three-star defensive line target

Josh Alexander-Felton has the Yellow Jackets as one of his final five schools

Earlier today, one of the top defensive linemen in the country (Joseph Jonah-Ajonye) listed Georgia Tech among his top four schools. Jonah-Ajonye was not the only Georgia Tech defensive line target to name the Yellow Jackets among his final schools, however.

Joshua Alexander-Felton is a three-star defensive lineman who plays at Edgewater High School in Orlando, FL, and he cut his list of schools to five today and Georgia Tech was included.

The other schools listed in his top five included Maryland, UCF, NC State, and Pitt.

Illinois, Iowa State, Kansas, Liberty, Marshall, Rutgers, Virginia, and West Virginia are the other offers on the table for the talented defensive lineman.

Alexander-Felton took an official to NC State in June and they are currently the favorite to land him on the 247Sports Crystal Ball.

"2022: As a junior, was credited with 59 tackles (12.5 for loss) and 4 sacks for an Edgewater program that went 12-1 in Florida’s 3M playoffs. Also broke up a pair of passes."

Georgia Tech has had a successful run of recruiting and has more targets committing in July. Just this week, the Yellow Jackets made a big move by flipping four-star wide receiver Isiah Canion from Notre Dame.

The Yellow Jackets 2024 class currently ranks 19th on Rivals and 23rd on 247Sports.
