It might be in the middle of spring football, but Georgia Tech is also still working hard to start landing its first commitments of the 2025 class. It is not just the 2025 class though, the Yellow Jackets are going to be hosting recruits for the 2026 and 2027 classes as well as they continue to develop relationships with them.

So who is going to be on The Flats this weekend? Let's go through some of the names.

2027 DE Kwame KJ Green- Despite being only a freshman in 2023, Kwame “KJ” Green flashed his potential, recording 12 tackles and four sacks on a loaded Stephenson team that went 10-3. KJ Green is only a freshman but he also got invited to the Underclassmen vs Florida back in December. Green received his first-ever offer from UAB last summer. He also recently picked up an offer from Tennessee State on March 17th. Green is heading into his sophomore season and already has great size at 210 pounds. A strong spring and summer could see the rising sophomore get on more radars in 2024.

2026 Defensive Lineman Ayden Cain- Cain has continued to create quite the buzz for himself. It started back in December at the Georgia Elite Classic where he was recognized by Chad Simmons of ON3 Sports. Cain was also a standout recently in Mansell/Chad Simmons MVP camps that were held at King’s Ridge Christian High School. He finished 2023 with 43 tackles, 18 pressures, six tackles for loss, and three sacks. He is tough to move around and a run stuffer in the ground game. Cain has continued to improve his pass rush and very well could surpass 10+ sacks in 2024. Cain also recently set a new PR in Boys Shot Put with a 42-2 distance As far as his recruiting he has picked up offers from UMASS, Arkansas State, and Bethune-Cookman back in February. Cain also has an offer from Western Kentucky. He doesn’t have an offer from Georgia Tech yet, but very well could have one soon.

Per our own Arvon Bacon:

"On this visit, I’m expecting to build some new relationships and develop the existing ones, get more of a feel their campus, and gauge their interest in me," he said.

When we asked Cain if had any other upcoming visits. The rising junior answered.

"Yeah, UAB Thursday, of course, Tech Saturday!," he stated.

Cain, a 6-foot-2, 250-pound defensive lineman is a name that will soon catch traction in the recruiting space, this past weekend Cain was recognized as a top defensive lineman at On3's/Dawgs HQ's Rusty Mansell and Chad Simmons MVP Camp.

2025 DB Julius Lane- According to 247Sports, Lane is a three-star player, ranked as the No. 167 athlete, and 82 player in Alabama. Lane is a strong and physical corner who loves to press and is good at He also loves to come downhill and make big hits on opposing players. He also has a knack for making big pass breakups and dislodging the football at the perfect time. Lane was also impressive at the Under Armour Camp series in Atlanta back in February making numerous plays on the ball and defending at a high level. He has offers that include West Virginia, Mississippi State, UNLV, Austin Peay, UAB, Georgia Southern, and more. Lane has remaining spring visits to Tennessee, UAB, and UCF.

2025 Athlete Fenix Felton- Felton has great size at 6'2 and 195 pounds. Felton plays for Eagles Landing Christian in McDonough, Georgia, and had a great 2023 season. For the Eagles, he is used as an athlete

Felton got reps at receiver and in the backfield on offense. He is one of those players you want to keep on the field at all times. On the ground, he rushed for 247 yards and two touchdowns. As a receiver, he had 31 catches for 489 yards and eight touchdowns. He also returned kicks on punts and kickoffs. In total, he had 1,143 all-purpose yards and 10 touchdowns.

His best game on the offensive side of the ball came against Callaway where he had nearly as many catches as touchdowns. Felton finished the game with four catches for 155 yards and 3 touchdowns averaging 39 yards per catch. Those great skills offensively translate to the opposite side of the ball and are part of what makes him special.

Felton projects as a safety at the next level and defensively is where he was most impressive. Felton had 90 tackles, five interceptions, a fumble recovery, and a sack. He played his best football down the stretch. He had four games in 2023 where he had 10+ tackles in a game including three of the final five games. Also, he had an interception in the final three games.

2028 RB Michael Martin- Martin is a very young prospect who played ball at Gainesville Middle School before moving to South Carolina. Per Prep Redzone, in middle school, he tallied 1,202 all-purpose yards and 14 touchdowns last year. He is universally viewed as the best running back in South Carolina in the 2028 class. already has major offers from Ole Miss, Duke, Arkansas, Miami and more are coming. Martin has already received invites this spring to compete in the US Army Bowl Combine and Under Armour Camp Series. Martin could be a household name soon, especially if he has a dominant freshman year.

2027 Athlete Ethan Hauser is another young prospect whose potential is through the roof. Hauser could see more time on the varsity-level Buford Wolves next season. He could play both sides of the field as he did in middle school playing wide receiver and safety. As a wide receiver, he has great strong hands and already good size at 6’1 and 175 pounds. Defensively, he projects as a long, rangy safety who can side of the field and can make plays on the ball. Hauser is entering his sophomore season and currently has offers from UCF and Tennessee. Although he doesn’t have a Georgia Tech offer, Hauser has been on campus multiple times already and continues to build relationships with the coaching staff.

2026 LB/DE Shadarius Toodle plays at Cottage Hill Christian Academy in Mobile, Alabama. Toodle both sides of the ball. Offensively, he led the team with 488 yards rushing and nine touchdowns. He had three games this past season with two or more touchdowns. Defensively he was a beast, finishing his sophomore season with 103 tackles and 10 sacks (team high). Toodle is a great all-around linebacker that can play coverage, come downhill, and also stuff the run. He possesses good instincts and can play sideline to sideline. He is great at shedding blocks and racking up tackles for loss with his explosion and knowing what the offense is going to do. Toodle holds 20 offers notably from Florida, Auburn, Baylor, Georgia Tech, LSU, Miami, Ohio State, Oregon, South Carolina, and more. He picked up an offer from the Yellow Jackets back in January and this will be his first time on campus in 2024. Toodle is a heavily coveted prospect with upside.
