Top Performers From Under Armour Camp Tennessee

This past weekend, some of the top prospects in the country gathered at the Under Armour Camp in Nashville, Tennessee and here are the guys who stood out the most on the field.

Nashville Christian (TN) QB Jared Curtis- The UGA commit continues to show why he is the No.1 signal caller and player in the 2026 class. Throughout the QB drills, he looked poised and comfortable. Even the one time when he went through drills and slipped and stumbled a little bit, he still threw a cannon and didn't let it affect him. He has great velocity and zip on the football when it is coming out of his hands. Curtis can hit any target and has a great release. It was a great day to truly evaluate him because it was very windy day, but none of the balls he threw sailed on him. They balls zipped through the wind and were on target every time. He was named On3 MVP and also received an invite to the UA Future 50 camp. Curtis possesses everything you look for in quarterback position at the next level, and proved why he is the best of the best.

Carver (AL) RB Anthony Rogers- The Alabama commit was outstanding on Sunday and was warranted by him receiving an All-American game invite. He was easily the best player to take the field and was crisp throughout his RB drills. Rogers possesses great speed and was very fluid and quick in his 40-yard dash. When 1 on 1s happened, he put on a show and gave the linebackers a tough matchup on every route whether it was an angle route, deep corner, or go route up the field they had trouble staying in front of him. His most impressive play was his ankle-breaking move during one of his routes. Rogers did a slight hesitation with an in and out and made the defender fall to the ground. He also made a great catch on his deep corner route with his helmet blowing off. Rogers showed his capability out of the backfield as a pass catcher and the constant mismatch he is for defenders. Rogers was impressive throughout the day and proved why he is a four-star prospect and one of the top running backs in the country.

Noxubee County (MS) QB KaMario Taylor- After watching the Mississippi State commit at the Under Armour camp, you can make the argument that he is underrated. The only recruiting platform that has him ranked as a four-star is On3, but you can see why. Taylor showed velocity throughout the camp on his throws. He has really good size at 6’3 and 205 pounds and was fluid moving through QB drills. Taylor has a smooth element about his game, always calm and comfortable in his releases. He was soaking up the knowledge former No. 1 overall pick who was in attendance, Jamarcus Russell. You can tell that he was impressed with the Mississippi native as well. Taylor is a name to continue to watch this spring and summer and could find himself as one of the top signal callers in the country before the 2025 cycle wraps up.

Chester County (TN) OL Kalvin Meadows- The 6’6 and 295-pound offensive lineman possesses good strength and power and moves very well for his size. Throughout the offensive line drills, you could see his potential to play at the next level. 1-on-1s is where he showed his ability and won the majority of his reps. During one of them, he was truly dominant against an edge rusher. He locked arms with him in the first few seconds and didn’t let him get any leverage against him. Then, he used his strength and power and pushed him to the ground with relative ease. Once he gets his hands on you, it’s tough to move Meadows off. The Chester County native has strong upside and is primed for a big senior season.

Trinity Christian Academy (TN)RB Lekhy Thompkins- Thompkins is a physically imposing running back who has great size. Don’t let it fool you though, he is also nimble and quick. He’s an underrated pass catcher out of the backfield and showcased this in 1-on-1s. Perhaps his best play was when he created some separation between him and the LB and made a one-handed contested catch. Throughout the day, he flashed his athleticism, making contested catches and skying for the football. Thompkins looked good throughout the RB drills and showcased great lateral agility and the ability to separate on routes. The Tennessee native is coming off a big season for Trinity Christian rushing for 1,540 yards and 25 touchdowns. He is definitely one to continue to watch.

Haywood (TN)DB Caden Harris- Harris wasn’t selected as one of the top guys at defensive back, but I thought his performance was outstanding, especially in 1-on-1s. The way he was able to close on the football was very impressive. He had several pass breakups on the day and an interception. Harris gave opposing receivers trouble all day when he was defending. His ball skills are impeccable. The Haywood star was great in press and off coverage all day long and used leverage well against receivers. He can be physical at the top of the route and close the space when the ball is in the air. Harris is another gem at the defensive back position with tremendous upside and is only heading into his junior year.

Germantown (TN) RB Jamarrion Morrow- You may be thinking why so many running backs are on this list, but it was truly a deep running back group at the Nashville camp, perhaps one of the best position groups out there. Morrow was another one who was excellent on Sunday and was named RB MVP by the staff. In the 40-yard dash, he looked very quick and showcased his speed. Morrow was dominant in the 1-on-1s throughout the day and has great route-running ability. As you know, the running back has to be able to do several things well, and Morrow has great versatility. The Germantown running back created so much separation at the top of his routes that the defenders didn’t stand a chance. An underrated part of his game is his ball skills. Morrow adjusted to the ball well and had several notable catches on Sunday.
