It is rare that someone who is 6'6 245 LBS can go overlooked in the NFL Draft, but Georgia Tech wide receiver E.J. Jenkins has not received any buzz heading into the draft next April.

Jenkins was not invited to the NFL Combine and needed a good showing today to increase his chances of being drafted. It is hard to imagine the day could have gone much better for Jenkins, who looked crisp running routes and ran well considering his size.

E.J. Jenkins boosted his draft stock by having an impressive pro day

Jenkins talked with the media after Pro Day ended and here is what he had to say:

1. On his expectations for his performance and the feedback he got today...

"Of course I set my expectations higher than what I came in with just because I expect so much out of myself. The feedback was good, I knew that I was having a good day but just never get complacent and just keep pushing and resetting my mindset after every drill and do it better than before.

2. On what his 40 time was...

"I am assuming in the 4.5 range."

3. On the possibility of playing tight end in the NFL...

"I will play wherever teams are willing to pick me at, I am willing to do it. I have been hearing a little bit of tight end and a little bit of receiver so whatever team I go to and whatever position they put me at, I am going to play to the best of my ability."

4. On what teams talked to him afterward and if he has been invited to any workouts...

"Yeah I have been invited to a couple of workouts, I am heading over to Baltimore and the Falcons and I will probably get a few more invites after today."

5. On his official height and weight...

"I was 6'6 245 LBS"

6. On if he would like to stay local and play for the Falcons...

"A crazy story, I grew up a Falcons fan so to give me an opportunity to go inside there and have a pro day and meet the staff it would be a childhood dream of mine and to have the opportunity to fulfill that childhood dream."

7. On what traits he has that would allow him to play tight end...

"Not really much traits, I just have the frame and the length and everything to be down there and like everybody was just saying, people were telling me like it is just the will and the drive to do it and I think I have put that on display in the Hula Bowl Game and just continue to keep improving every day and I am going to work on more tight end stuff because I feel like I have the receiver stuff down and that will make me more valuable."

8. On players he models his game after...

"Growing up, I always tried to model my game after Calvin Johnson and as I got bigger, I will always look up to bigger receivers and big tight ends like Julio and Mike Evans. From the tight end aspect, Darren Waller, Travis Kelce, older guys like Tony G, and I feel like my play style fits with them."
