Everything From Jaylon King After Georgia Tech's Pro Day

Former Georgia Tech defensive back Jaylon King spoke with the media today after the Yellow Jackets Pro Day

It was a big day at Georgia Tech day. Numerous NFL scouts were in attendance for Georgia Tech's pro day where eight former Yellow Jackets worked out and did drills.

After the pro day was wrapped up, defensive back Jaylon King came over to talk with the media, and here is everything that he had to say after pro day had wrapped up.

1. On how he felt like he did out there...

"I felt like I did a good job out there, some things that I could have done better but overall I felt like I performed well."

2. On something he felt like he could have done better...

"Probably my 40, but everything else I felt comfortable with."

3. On if he had a number in mind that he wanted to hit...

"Yeah and then they gave me a little bit of feedback and I felt like I could have done a little bit better."

4. On if he was able to talk with any teams...

"I talked to a couple of people throughout the day. I talked to the Browns and the Ravens, those are the two teams that I have had the most communication with."

5. On the skills he brings to an NFL team...

"Intelligence, toughness, willing to tackle, able to learn the playbook at a fast level, other positions, I think that gives me an advantage because I am able to learn which D-lineman is filling which gap and where the weakness in the defense is at and I can provide support."

6. On if the moment of going through a Pro Day hit him today...

"I spent six years here and have seen a lot of people go through pro day so just to finally have my time to go through it... it is a dream come true."

7. On what is next for him leading up to the draft...

"Go back to training on Monday, do primarily speed work, position drill work, just in case I get the opportunity to work out for any teams."

8. On how his time at Georgia Tech prepared him for the next level...

"I feel like it gave me a lot of opportunities. The defense changed this year so there were some times that I had to go through and cover a lot more and fill the alley and make a lot more tackles so just being able to be more versatile in that aspect and prepare for the next level."

9. On what he will miss the most about Georgia Tech...

"Not class, I will say that. I would say the gameday atmosphere and being around teammates."

10. On what it was like being in here with his teammates one last time...

"It was a fun experience, I would not say emotional but it was just a great experience just to see my other teammates and the hard work that has payed off for the last two months. I know some people exceeded expectations with what they had throughout training and just to see that they had that excitement."

11. On if it has hit him that he could be a month away from completing a dream of playing in the NFL...

"Not yet. I would say closer to April I will probably start getting that feeling but right now I am just working out and getting my body ready for the opportunity."

12. On if anyone has reached out and given tips about the process...

"So where I trained at, I trained with Keion (White), Ace (Eley), and Charlie (Thomas) throughout my time and just being able to work out around former pro players that came back for offseason training so they just give me tips and that nature."
