Georgia Tech Linebacker Khatavian Franks Enters Transfer Portal

Linebacker Khatavian Franks announced his decision to leave Georgia Tech after three years

Georgia Tech linebacker Khatavian Franks announced on his Twitter today that he will be entering the transfer portal. The Fairburn, Georgia native entered Tech in 2020 but has not played a snap in any games. According to Kelly Quinlan, Franks dealt with multiple injuries and two leaves of absence from the team over his three years on the Flats.

Out of high school, Franks was rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals, 247Sports and ESPN. Rivals ranked him as the #59 outside linebacker in the nation, while ESPN ranked him the #75 overall player in Georgia.

In the spring game last weekend, Franks had two solo tackles and one pass breakup.

Good luck in the future Khatavian!
