Georgia Tech vs. Bowling Green: ESPN"s FPI heavily favors Yellow Jackets in today's game
Georgia Tech is back at Bobby Dodd Stadium today and will be debuting some exciting new uniforms today against Bowling Green.
The Yellow Jackets are coming off of a win against Wake Forest last Saturday and now, Georgia Tech has a chance to go into October above .500 for the first time since the 2017 season. Brent Key has made progress with this program in his first season, but they still have plenty to improve on and will try to do just that against a 1-3 Bowling Green team.
Vegas has Georgia Tech as a heavy favorite today and they are not the only ones. ESPN's FPI is giving Georgia Tech a nearly 90% chance to win the game.

ESPN uses its FPI (Football Power Index) as an advanced analytical model to help look at matchups and predict outcomes. In ESPN's own words: "FPI is a predictive rating system designed to measure team strength and project performance going forward. The ultimate goal of FPI is not to rank teams 1 through 128; rather, it is to correctly predict games and season outcomes. If Vegas ever published the power rankings it uses to set its lines, they would likely look quite a lot like FPI."
FPI has Georgia Tech as the No. 48 team in the country and Bowling Green as No. 115. The Falcons are coming off a 31-point loss to Ohio last week.
