Keion White Speaks Highly Of Atlanta Falcons At NFL Combine

In this story:
The 2023 NFL Combine is underway this week and tomorrow is a big day for two former Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Keion White and Charlie Thomas are going to be doing on-field drills tomorrow in front of NFL scouts and coaches and both are hoping to do well and raise their draft stocks.
Ahead of the on-field work tomorrow, White spoke with the media today and at least one team in need of a pass rusher has already talked with White.
The Atlanta Falcons are one of the teams with a big need along the defensive line at either the interior or edge and Falcons beat writer Josh Kendall, who covers the team at The Athletic, tweeted this morning that White was one of the prospects that have met with the Falcons already.
It's Edge Rusher morning at the NFL Combine and both Tyree Wilson (Texas Tech) and Keion White (Georgia Tech) said they met with the Falcons, who held their first round of prospect interviews Tuesday night. https://t.co/iK3WcjwIhd

When talking with the media, White said he saw himself fitting in well with a team like the Falcons because of his versatility and that he is a fan of new Falcons defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen.

I think the Falcons are one of the top landing spots for White and with a good combine performance, he might be in consideration with the 8th pick.
I think that it is safe to say that White has played himself into the first-round range and in mock drafts going forward, I expect to see White as a mainstay. He will have a chance to elevate himself during the Combine workouts tomorrow.
White is one of the most versatile defensive linemen in this year's draft and he plays with power and exceptional athleticism. He will continue to separate himself from the other defensive players in the draft and hear his name called early in April.
White finished the 2022 season with 7.5 sacks and 54 tackles and was one of the most impactful players on the Georgia Tech defense.
