Kirk Herbstreit lists Brent Key as one of the top coaches of week four
After leading his team to a big road win against Wake Forest, Georgia Tech's Brent Key is getting recognized for the coaching performance that he displayed on Saturday.
Every Monday, ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit lists his top-performing teams and coachesof the previous week and for week four, Herbstreit had Georgia Tech in his top seven, with the Yellow Jackets coming in at No. 5, behind Ohio State, Florida State, Washington State, and Alabama. Herbstreit ranked Key 7th, behind Ryan Day/Jim Knowles from Ohio State, Jake Dickert from Washington State, Nick Saban/Kevin Steele at Alabama, Manny Diaz at Penn State, David Braun at Northwestern, and Charles Huff at Marshall.
Georgia Tech was a slight underdog heading into their game against Wake Forest, but the defense put on their best performance of the season. Kyle Kennard led the way with four sacks and Jaylon King got two interceptions on his way to being named the ACC defensive back of the week. Haynes King and the offense did just enough for the team to get a big win.

Georgia Tech faces Bowling Green this weekend and it will be a great opportunity to get another win and get to 3-2 heading into a primetime matchup against Miami.
The Yellow Jackets still have a ways to go under Key, but there is clear improvement and buy-in from these players. The offense has been one of the best in the ACC and King has been performing as well as any quarterback in the conference. There are still plenty of tough games left on the schedule, but it is never a bad thing when someone of Herbstreit's stature takes notice of is going on.
