PFF Grades for every Georgia Tech defensive player vs. Wake Forest
Georgia Tech's defense picked a great time to show up yesterday.
While the offense was not terrible, they had trouble taking advantage of red zone opportunities and they could not run the ball the way that they wanted. Wake Forest was hoping to take advantage of that, but the Georgia Tech defense stepped up when it needed to.
Wake Forest only managed 4.7 yards per play and the Yellow Jackets racked up eight sacks and forced five turnovers. Wake did have 224 yards rushing, but on 52 attempts. It was the kind of performance they needed after three tough performances and hopefully something they can build off of.
