Chris Eubanks is not done yet!

After going down two sets to one, it looked like the former Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets was going to be done at this year's Wimbledon Tournament. But as he has done since the first round, he stayed resilient and battled back against the No. 5 tennis player in the world, Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Eubanks lost the first set 6-3, but battled back to win a close second set 7-6. Tsitsipas showed why he is one of the best in the world during the next set however by winning another set 6-3 and taking a 2-1 lead in the match.

Then Eubanks started to get momentum in the fourth set.

After going down early, Eubanks stormed back and was playing exceptional tennis to force a fifth set.

He won the first point of the final set after both going back and forth. Then he won the second point to take an early 2-0 lead and you could sense the momentum that was in the building. Tsitsipas won the third point to make it 2-1.

After going up 5-3, it looked as if Eubanks had the match locked up, but Tsitsipas fought back to win another point and make it 5-4.

Eubanks forced a deuce after Tsitsipas went up 40-30.

It was then over as Eubanks fought to win and won the last set 6-4.

Next up for Eubanks is a Quarterfinals matchup with the No. 3 player in the world, Daniil Medvedev.

Before he turned pro in 2017, he was a two-time All-American on The Flats and became the first Yellow Jacket and fifth conference player ever to earn ACC Player of the Year twice.

Became fifth student-athlete to be a three-time All-ACC honoree. He earned USTA/ITA Sportsmanship Award in 20116 and 2017 ITA Arthur Ashe, Jr. Leadership and Sportsmanship Award. He finished tied-fifth in all-time career wins (90) while finishing 10th in career win percentage (.732). Eubanks finished tied-second in season wins (34 – 2015-16) and tied-fourth in dual matches (21 – 2015-16) and he ranks third all-time at Georgia Tech with 21 doubles dual match victories in 2015-16 (Per ramblinwreck.com).
