2023 FIBA World Cup live stream: How to watch Canada vs. Serbia

In this story:
Two former Gonzaga men's basketball stars square off in the semifinal round of the 2023 FIBA World Cup on Friday, when Kelly Olynyk and Canada look to make history against Filip Petrusev and a Serbia squad seeking redemption.
The Canadians, led by star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (25.0 points per game), have never earned a spot in a FIBA World Cup gold medal game. They'll look to change that against a stifling Serbian defense that hasn't allowed more than 80 points in its last three games. Both squads have been electric on offense as two of the top three-scoring teams in the tournament.
Likewise, both former Zags have contributed to their respective teams' efforts.
In his second FIBA World Cup, Olynyk is third on the team in scoring with 11.2 points per game to go along with 5.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists. The 32-year-old veteran scored in double-figures in three of his six starts.
Petrusev, who sat out Serbia's wins over Puerto Rico and South Sudan, played a key role in the team's latest victories to earn a spot in the semifinal round. The 6-foot-11 forward dropped 14 points and shot 6-for-9 from the field against the Dominican Republic, before turning in a 17-point effort against Lithuania in the quarterfinals.
The winner takes on either Team USA or Germany in the FIBA World Cup final on Sunday.
