Former Gonzaga star Adam Morrison featured in AT&T's 'One Shining Moment' TV commercial

Morrison takes a star turn with Greg Oden and several other former college basketball stars

Remember when Adam Morrison dropped to the court at Oracle Arena in Oakland and sobbed after Gonzaga blew a 17-point lead to UCLA and suffered a devastating 73-71 loss to the Bruins in the third round of the 2006 NCAA Tournament?

Seventeen years later, AT&T has rekindled that moment in one of a series of commercials they have been airing with their longtime spokesperson, Lily, during March Madness.

And the 17-year anniversary of that moment - March 23, 2006 - came on the same day Gonzaga and UCLA met in the Sweet 16 of the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

Morrison is featured in AT&T's "One Shining Moment" commercial, along with Greg Oden, A'ja Wilson, Steven Adams, Sabrina Ionescu, Christian Laettner and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

About halfway through the commercial, which takes place on the beach, Oden finds Morrison sitting sullenly on the sand watching video on his phone of the UCLA moment. Oden extends a hand to help Morrison up and they join the rest of the cast in singing along to "One Shining Moment."
