Gonzaga vs. Portland: Latest betting odds for WCC men's basketball game

Bulldogs are 21.5-point favorites on the road against the Pilots

The Gonzaga Bulldogs eye their fifth-straight win on Thursday when they head to Portland to face a Pilots team that has lost four consecutive games in West Coast Conference play.

Gonzaga (20-6, 10-2 WCC) continues to improve its at-large NCAA Tournament chances as winners of nine of its previous 10 games. The Bulldogs are 6-4 against the spread in that stretch and have covered in their last five road games since a 77-76 loss at Santa Clara on Jan. 11. They came up just short of covering the 31-point spread in their 102-76 win at home over Pacific last Saturday.

Graham Ike posted his third consecutive 20-point game in the win over the Tigers as he led the way with 21 points on 9-for-9 shooting from the floor, the most made field goals without a miss by a Gonzaga player since Rui Hachimura went 9-for-9 against Denver in 2018. Ike has had 20 or more points in seven of the last 10 games and is shooting 61.4% from the field, second-best in the WCC.

Ryan Nembhard also made history in the win over Pacific with 18 points and 10 assists, his second-straight double-double and the first Gonzaga player since Derek Raivio in the 2004-05 season to have consecutive games with 10 or more assists. Nembhard was named WCC Player of the Week for his efforts.

The Bulldogs are 15-0 this season when scoring 80 or more points and 14-0 when shooting 50% or better from the field.

Portland (9-19, 3-10 WCC) has lost eight of its last 10 games and is 4-6 ATS in that stretch. Injuries have been an issue as of late, as freshman forward Tyler Harris has missed five of the last six games. Harris averages 12.1 points and a team-high 7.4 rebounds per game.

Tyler Robertson leads the Pilots at 16.1 points per game after a 23-point outing the last time out against Pepperdine. The Bulldogs held Robertson to a season-low five points in the first matchup of the season at The Kennel.

Redshirt freshman forward Bol Dengdit has taken advantage of more opportunities on the court due to the Pilots' injuries, as the 6-foot-11 post has scored in double-figures in six straight games after only having two such outings in the previous 22 games.

Gonzaga is 12-13 ATS according to covers.com and 7-5 ATS in WCC games. Portland is 11-15 ATS.
