Gonzaga's Kraziness in the Kennel is right around the corner

As students begin to head back to class, it's only a matter of time before the 2023-24 college basketball season tips off

Gonzaga basketball is almost back.

With less than 11 weeks until opening night for the 2023-24 regular season, buzz around Gonzaga's campus is increasing as students prepare to head back to class on Aug. 29. Before summer officially ends, several Bulldogs will spend time helping out their communities when they aren't preparing for the upcoming season.

Ben Gregg will be holding a back-to-school shopping event near his hometown of Clackamas, Oregon, on Aug. 23 in hopes of helping underprivileged children acquire new clothes and a fresh haircut before school starts. Gregg was inspired by a similar event that was held in Spokane last year, and with help from his parents and the Mullen Polk Foundation, he started a fundraiser to raise money for those in need.

Meanwhile, guard Nolan Hickman will be holding youth basketball camps through The Give Back Foundation in his hometown of Seattle, with the goal of providing resources to bridge the gap to meet basic needs for families in the community.

Just goes to show, being a Zag goes far beyond the talent on the basketball court.
