Gonzaga's odds to win 2024 NCAA National Championship

As Gonzaga prepares for life without Drew Timme, there's plenty of speculation about whether or not the Bulldogs will still be contenders for a national title.

While this year's national championship was only a few weeks ago, it is never too early to take a look at the betting odds for next season.

Odds to win the 2024 national championship vary from sportsbook to sportsbook, but we've compiled the odds from four of the most popular oddsmakers to take a closer look at the Bulldogs' chances of winning the national title next year.

Defending national champion UConn, along with Duke, Kentucky and Kansas are currently the four programs with the best odds to win next year's tournament.

The Bulldogs will have a much different look next year so don't be surprised to see Gonzaga's odds fluctuate as the offseason progresses.

Along with Drew Timme likely moving on to the NBA, Julian Strawther and Malachi Smith have now both declared for the NBA Draft as well.

Other key departures include senior Rasir Bolton who is out of eligibility, as well as Dominick Harris, Hunter Salis and Efton Reid who have all entered the transfer portal.

The Zags are down to eight returning players, just two of whom were rotation players (Nolan Hickman, Ben Gregg), but have three incoming recruits and just added Big Sky player of the year Steele Venters via the transfer portal.

If Gonzaga is able to add Taran Armstrong or Ryan Nembhard via the portal as well, the Bulldogs' odds could see a big jump.
