Greg Heister: ‘We’re not going to see another career like Drew Timme’s ever again’

ROOT Sports announcer stated that Timme will be the greatest player in Gonzaga men's basketball for generations to come

No doubt about it, the Gonzaga Bulldogs had never seen a player and personality like Drew Timme in the program's history — and there's a good chance they won't ever see a player like him again.

To go along with his antics and large persona, Timme backed it up with sheer determination and dominance on the hardwood. The three-time consensus All-American was the lifeblood of Gonzaga's offense, as he became the program's all-time leading scorer and shot-maker over his decorated four seasons in Spokane. He stepped up in the biggest moments during the NCAA Tournament, as he also holds the program record for points and rebounds in the postseason.

Regarded as one of the most dominant college basketball players in recent memory, Timme's legacy will be remembered by fans for years. Greg Heister, commentator for ROOT Sports, believes there won't be another career like Timme's ever again, as he'll be regarded as the best player in Gonzaga Bulldogs history.

Watch the latest episode of Gonzaga Nation featuring the ROOT Sports college basketball broadcast team of Dan Dickau, Richard Fox, Chauncey Jones and Heister as they discuss Timme's career, expectations for the Zags this season and more.
