Jun Seok Yeo makes first start for Gonzaga men's basketball team

The sophomore replaces Dusty Stromer in the lineup

SPOKANE - In a surprise move, sophomore Jun Seok Yeo is starting for the Gonzaga Bulldogs in their home game vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Tuesday night at the McCarthey Athletic Center.

Yeo replaces freshman Dusty Stromer in the starting lineup. According to a source close to the program, Gonzaga head coach Mark Few inserted Yeo in the lineup to help him gain more experience.

Yeo is averaging 2.3 points in just 6.9 minutes this season. The 6-foot-8 forward played less than one minute in Gonzaga's 89-76 win over USC on Saturday.

Stromer is averaging 7.0 points and 4.7 rebounds and is coming off a career-high 15-point performance vs. USC.

Gonzaga (6-1) is ranked No. 7 in the AP Top 25 poll. Arkansas Pine-Bluff comes in 4-5 with just one victory over a Division I team.
