SPOKANE - Braden Huff scored 17 points to lead the Gonzaga men's basketball team to a 78-40 victory over Mississippi Valley State at the McCarthey Athletic Center on Monday night.
Gonzaga (8-2) led 38-18 at halftime and coach Mark Few emptied his bench early, giving valuable minutes to the Zags' younger players. The Bulldogs will face a much tougher test on Friday when they face defending national champion UConn in Seattle.
