Photos: Gonzaga leads Kansas in March Madness 2024 matchup

The Bulldogs and Jayhawks are playing for a spot in the Sweet 16

SALT LAKE CITY - The Gonzaga Bulldogs lead the Kansas Jayhawks late in their second-round matchup in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

The Jayhawks led 44-43 at halftime, but Gonzaga started the second half on a 31-9 run to take a 74-53 lead with less than 8 minutes left in the game. After shooting 3-for-9 from deep in the first half, the Zags started the second half 5-for-5.

The winner advances to the Midwest Region Sweet 16 next week in Detroit and will likely face No. 1 Purdue.
