Conference realignment has changed the landscape of college athletics.

The Pac-12's future remains uncertain after the conference lost eight teams to the Big 12 and Big Ten. Most of the moves revolve around college football, but that hasn't stopped Gonzaga from considering a potential move out of the West Coast Conference.

Gonzaga and the Big 12 had mutual interest, though talks fell through last month. The have been rumors about a possible move to either Pac-12 and Big East, but nothing has ever materialized. The Zags were courted heavily by the Mountain West Conference in 2019 before striking a favorable revenue deal with the WCC.

Former All-American Dan Dickau shares his thoughts on what life would be like if Gonzaga relinquished conference affiliation in favor of independence on the latest episode of the Gonzaga Nation podcast.
