Mark Few boasts plenty of USA Basketball experience, though this summer was the first time the head coach of Gonzaga men's basketball experienced international competition with the senior national team at the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
The results were mixed, as Team USA looked dominant in the early rounds before a letdown against Germany, the eventual World Cup champions, prevented the Americans from taking home the gold medal. But despite losing the third-place game to Canada, Team USA still qualified for the 2024 Olympic Games.
