After a pair of double-digit wins at home, the Gonzaga women's basketball team rose to No. 18 in Monday's Associated Press Top 25 poll.

The Zags (25-3, 15-1 WCC), who were ranked 20th last week, defeated Pacific on Thursday and Saint Mary's on Saturday at the McCarthey Athletic Center.

Kaylynne Truong had a game-high 21 points in a 69-58 win over the Tigers, who didn't have a player score more than 13. Truong shot 7-for-10 on 3-point attempts, helping the Zags shoot 52.2% from beyond the arc.

The senior guard wasn't as efficient in Gonzaga's 65-51 victory against the Gaels, finishing with 14 points on 5-of-13 shooting from the field. Instead, the Zags were led in scoring by Yvonne Ejim, who had 25 points on 10-of-17 field goal attempts.

Saturday's game was Senior Day at Gonzaga, which saw Kaylynne Truong, Kayleigh Truong, Brynna Maxwell and Eliza Hollingsworth announce their return for the 2023-24 season.

“It’s been a long four years, but I think Gonzaga is a really good school, and I love playing with everyone on this team,” Kaylynne said after the game.

The Zags' two wins earned them 19 more points in the poll, placing the team behind UCLA and ahead of Texas.

Gonzaga ends the season with a two-game road trip, visiting San Diego on Thursday and BYU on Saturday.
