2023 FIBA World Cup live stream: How to watch Team USA vs. Canada

In this story:
The matchup everyone in North America wanted to see is here — Team USA vs. Canada, a matchup filled with some of the top talent in the NBA going at it on the international stage.
Except it won't be for the gold medal like many expected after both teams fell victim to upsets in the semifinal round on Friday. Instead, the top two favorites to win the tournament will compete for a bronze medal on Sunday morning.
Team USA came up short against Germany in a high-scoring affair. Both teams shot over 55% from the field and knocked down a combined 25 3-pointers, though the Americans couldn't get a defensive stop when it mattered most down the stretch. Led by NBA veteran Daniel Theis and the Wagner brothers, Germany's strong third quarter was too much for Steve Kerr's team to overcome.
For Canada, playing in its most meaningful medal game since the 1936 Olympics, foul trouble early on against Serbia proved to be a difference maker in the nine-point loss. The Canadians had dominated the tournament thus far with wins over France, Spain and Serbia — a win over Team USA would cap off the most successful tournament in the program's history.
It's also the first medal game for Gonzaga head coach Mark Few as an assistant coach for Team USA.
