Abdullahi Kuso had one of the longest professional basketball careers of any former Gonzaga men's basketball player.

After playing for the Zags from 2006-08, Kuso played professionally overseas for 14 seasons. He retired after the 2020-21 season with the Ibaraki Robots in Japan.

Kuso, 39, still lives in Spokane and says going to Gonzaga "was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life."

On the latest episode of the Gonzaga Nation podcast, Kuso joins Dan Dickau for a wide-ranging conversation about what it was like to guard Steph Curry in the NCAA Tournament, his pro career, Pearl Jam and much more.
