Jay Bilas discusses Gonzaga basketball's impact on the NBA and international hoops

ESPN college basketball analyst shares how NBA coaches learn from Bulldogs head coach Mark Few

Mark Few's run as head coach of the Gonzaga Bulldogs has been well-documented over the course of his 24 seasons at the helm. The program has transcended the "mid-major" label to become a household name nationwide, especially during the NCAA Tournament. The success Few has accomplished has placed him among the best basketball minds not just at the college level, but at the professional level as well.

Over the last half-decade, Few has been immersed in Team USA basketball, serving as an assistant coach during last summer's FIBA World Cup event. While helping manage some of the best players in the world, Few spent a lot of time with the NBA's best minds in the Mimia Heat's Erik Spoelstra, Los Angeles Clippers' coach Tyronn Lue and Golden State Warriors' coach Steve Kerr. As the only college basketball coach in the coaching circle, there were plenty of opportunities to learn and explore alternative approaches to the game that Few could use at Gonzaga.

Likewise, the NBA coaches picked Few's brain as well. On a new episode of the Gonzaga Nation podcast, ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Bilas shared how Few and the Bulldogs' brand of basketball has influenced the NBA and international levels of play.
