Julian Strawther was widely projected to be a second-round pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

So why did the former Gonzaga star sneak into the first round?

Denver Nuggets assistant video director Connor Griffin said Strawther's pre-draft workout with the Nuggets was impressive, and he has "one of the best floaters in the country right now." The Nuggets ultimately traded up to draft Strawther with pick No. 29.
