2024 Guard Jaeden Mustaf Narrows List to Six, Schedules Decision Date

Indiana basketball recruiting target Jaeden Mustaf announced a top-six list on Wednesday. The four-star guard in the class of 2024 will decide between Georgia Tech, NC State, Maryland, Florida State, Indiana and Arkansas.

Indiana is in the final six for 2024 guard Jaeden Mustaf, who will announce his decision on Sept. 14, according to On3's Joe Tipton.

On Wednesday, Mustaf released a top-six list, including Georgia Tech, NC State, Maryland, Florida State, Indiana and Arkansas.

Mustaf took an official visit to Indiana in June, and he’s also visited Florida State, Georgia Tech and NC State, with plans to visit Maryland on Sept. 1.

The 6-foot-5, 205-pound guard is considered a four-star prospect in the class of 2024. He's ranked No. 27 by 247Sports, No. 44 by On3, No. 46 by Rivals and No. 48 in the ESPN Top 100.

Mustaf recently announced that he'll spend his senior year of high school playing for Overtime Elite, a professional basketball league created in 2021 and based in Atlanta, Ga. Prior to joining Overtime Elite, Mustaf attended Carmel Christian School in Matthews, N.C. and DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Md.

Mustaf plays AAU for Boo Williams on the Nike EYBL Circuit, where he's teammates with fellow Indiana recruiting target Austin Swartz. Across 20 games of EYBL play, Mustaf averaged 17.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. He shot 80.9 percent on from the free throw line on 8.1 attempts per game, along with a 20.5 3-point shooting percentage on 44 total attempts, according to a source with EYBL tracking data.

Mustaf has strong basketball pedigree, as his father, Jerrod Mustaf, played at Maryland from 1988-90, where he averaged 18.5 points and 7.7 rebounds as a sophomore to earn All-ACC honors. The New York Knicks selected Jerrod with the 17th pick in the 1990 NBA Draft, and he played four seasons in the NBA.
