BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — In one of the most well-known rivalries in college basketball, the Indiana Hoosiers (12-6, 4-3 in the Big Ten) fell to the No. 2 Purdue Boilermakers 16-2 (5-2) at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Tuesday night.

Purdue's offense kept the Hoosiers stifled while the Hoosiers struggled with foul trouble from early in the first half. While Indiana had short bursts offensively, especially early in the second half, Purdue ran away with the game, winning 87-66.

Senior guard Trey Galloway led Hoosiers in scoring with 17 points, four rebounds and five assists. Freshman forward Mackenzie Mgbako added 15 points and two rebounds. Sophomore center Kel'el Ware struggled offensively only scoring five points, but contributed six rebounds and two huge blocks.
