5 Big Ten Schools Among Top-10 in NIL Store Sales For December

A total of five Big Ten schools ranked in the top-10 in sales for December, per The NIL Store. Purdue topped the list. Other conference schools in the mix included Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Nebraska.

The month of December was a good one for multiple Big Ten schools in terms of name, image and likeness sales. According to the NIL Store, the conference accounted for five of the top-10 selling schools.

The NIL Store fired off a post on X showing the top-10 schools in sales for December. Five of those were from the Big Ten, with three landing inside the top-five.

Purdue led the way at No. 1, with Iowa the second-best Big Ten school at No. 4. Illinois came in at No. 5. Indiana was at No. 7 and Nebraska rounded out the list at No. 10.

The other five teams to make the list are UConn (No. 2), Marquette (No. 3), LSU (No. 6), Temple (No. 8) and North Dakota State (No. 9).

The NIL Store represents 39 different schools. Other Big Ten schools associated with the company are Michigan State, Penn State, Maryland, Northwestern, Rutgers and Ohio State.

Outside of the Big Ten, the NIL Store also works with Duke, Syracuse, Florida State, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Washington, Utah and others.

Typically, The NIL Store reveals the top-10 players in sales for each month. The top-selling student-athletes for December has not yet been released.

In November, Purdue had four male student-athletes listed among the top-10 sellers for the month. Zach Edey and Braden Smith were at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively. Myles Colvin was listed at No. 5 and Mason Gillis came in at No. 8 

Indiana's Gabe Cupps was No. 3, Illinois' Terrence Shannon Jr. was listed at No. 6 and Iowa's Brock Harding made the cut at No. 9.
