Sports Illustrated Publishers' Preseason All-Big Ten Team

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — There's a lot of returning talent in the Big Ten this season, and that was obvious when the nine Sports Illustrated publishers around the Big Ten voted on a first-team all-conference team.

No Indiana players made the first team of the Big Ten's All-Preseason team as voted on by nine Sports Illustrated publishers, but Michael Penix Jr,, Stevie Scott, Whop Philyor, Micah McFadden and Tiawan Mullen received votes. Scott was the only Indiana player to receive multiple votes.

The nine voters named eight players as unanimous choices. They were Alaric Jackson, Wyatt Davis, Pat Freiermuth, Micah Parsons, Paddy Fisher, Shawn Wade, Keith Duncan and Blake Hayes.

Ohio State was predicted to win the Big Ten title, and that was unanimous as well. Wisconsin was picked the win the Big Ten West, and received six votes. Minnesota got the other three votes
