Indiana Football Suspends Connor Delp Indefinitely

Indiana football wide receiver and punt returner Connor Delp is suspended indefinitely.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Effective immediately, sophomore Connor Delp is suspended indefinitely from all football team activities and will not travel to Michigan State, Indiana football announced in a press release on Thursday.

Delp made his collegiate debut against Western Kentucky on Sept. 17, and he has returned six punts for 27 yards during the 2022 season. He did not see any game action for the Hoosiers last season, but Delp was named offensive scout team player of the week before Indiana's game against Cincinnati.

From Center Grove High School in Greenwood, Ind., Delp joined the program as a walk-on during 2021 fall camp. He was an all-conference player and an Indiana Senior All-Star at Center Grove, posting 2,288 all-purpose yards with 17 touchdowns.

According to an article published by the Indiana Daily Student on Nov. 3 2021, Delp was withheld from all team activities last season.
