Dilin Jones — a four-star running back in the class of 2024 — committed to the Wisconsin Badgers and head coach Luke Fickell on Friday. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound back chose Wisconsin over Big Ten rival Maryland, and ACC team Florida State

Ohio State football and head coach Ryan Day didn't land any new recruits, but did self report two Level III violations to the NCAA for illegal use of equipment during the offseason, and for illegal contact made during a potential recruit's official campus visit.

Here's everything you need to know in today's Big Ten Roundup:

Four-Star Dilin Jones Commits to Wisconsin

As if landing four-star running back Darrion Dupree wasn't enough, Luke Fickell had to go out and nab four-star Dilin Jones just for kicks.

The highly touted ball carrier out of Olney, Md., is headed to Madison, making him Wisconsin's 20th overall commit in the class of 2024.

Jones' commitment bumps Wisconsin's 2024 recruiting class up to 18th overall in the country according to 247 Sports, and fifth overall in the rankings amongst Big Ten teams. The four teams with higher ranking 2024 recruiting classes are Ohio State, Michigan, USC (the Trojans will have joined the Big Ten by 2024) and Penn State.

Fickell set out to change the perception of Wisconsin football the moment his hire was announced, and with the commitment of a second four-star running back in the span of a week, he might be doing just that.

Ohio State Self Reports Two NCAA Violations

The Columbus Dispatch reported on Friday that Ohio State informed the NCAA of minor violations committed by the football program during this past year.

The first violation involved the use of a blocking sled during an offseason practice on February 13, violating NCAA rules that prohibit the use equipment specific to the student-athletes' sport during a designated section of the offseason. The second violation took place during Ohio State's game against Wisconsin on Sept. 24, 2022, during which a visiting prospect was taken by an OSU staffer to meet a former football player. The meeting happened off campus, which violates NCAA rules.
