Three Iowa Players Earn All-B1G Honors

In this story:
The Iowa Hawkeyes had plenty of talent this season which made it a no brainer to see these three earn All-B1G honors.
Aophomore center Ava Heiden wasn't a unanimous First-Team B1G selection by the media, but she was still a unanimous selection by the coaches. Heiden was joined by senior forward Hannah Stuelke who earned second-team honors, along with sophomore guard Chit-Chat Wright who made third-team.
Two of those three players will return to the Hawkeyes next season, pending any activity in the transfer portal. Jensen has established quite a group of young talent, but sadly wasn't rewarded with B1G Coach of the Year.

To no surprise, Heiden was a unanimous First-Team selection by the coaches. Seeing as the media has votes as well, they cast them in a much different direction. Heiden missed out on being a true unanimous first-team selection due to not all of the media seeing her as a first-team talent.
Heiden is shooting a staggering 65.1% from the field as she leads the Hawkeyes with 17.6 points per game. The sophomore is in contention for B1G Player of the Year, though chances of that are slim seeing they snubbed Jensen from her award.
Second Team: Hannah Stuelke

Stuelke earns second-team honors despite missing two of the team's last four games due to an injury. She has poured her heart and soul into this program since 2022-23 when she joined the team and made quite an impact in her freshman campaign.
The Iowa native has started all but three of the games she's played in since she was a sophomore. It's hard to see her time with the program finally come to an end, but Stuelke has done so many great things for Iowa it's great to see the conference recognize her on her way out.
Third Team: Chit-Chat Wright

Not everything Wright does appears on the stat sheet but it was great to see the conference still put her name in the mix. Wright's decision to transfer from Georgia Tech will go down as one of the best of her career.
An early season injury against Baylor didn't keep the Georgia native out for long. She was able to return with a vengeance and keep her points per game average in double digits. Wright's first year with Iowa was a smashing success as the team would love to keep her around for the rest of her career.
