Game Primer: How to Watch, Key Players and Important Information for Kansas vs St Mary's

The Kansas Jayhawks continue their great start to the season as they prepare for their first true road game against the St. Mary's Gaels. The Jayhawks got a dominant game from multiple players in game 1 of the St Mary's Thanksgiving Classic, and will try to build on that performance as they take on the hosts..
Overview
The Jayhawks kept the same starting lineup as they did against UTRGV and it paid off in a big way with a ton of dominant performances. Taiyanna Jackson is continuing her dominant play in the post, and multiple players have had a chance to lead the Jayhawks already this season
The Kansas Jayhawks are still receiving votes in both polls this week, and will look to use a strong showing to break into the rankings next week.
This is the second meeting between the Jayhawks and the Gaels. The last meeting between these two programs was an 80-57 victory for Kansas back on December 30, 2010.
Here are the essentials:
The Numbers

Key Players
Holly Kersgieter (11 pts, 4 reb, 3 ast, 1 stl, against Maine)
Kersgieter had trouble with her shot against Maine, but she still found plenty of ways to get involved, tallying three assists to help get others involved. And of course, the defense is there night in and night out. Look for her to continue to find ways to impact the game today, but the team will need her to be more efficient against St Mary's.
Taiyanna Jackson (10 pts, 6 reb, 0 ast, 1 stl, 2 blk, against Maine)
Jackson has been "quietly" dominant this season, with many other players having the opportunity to play starring roles for the Jayhawks in a variety of ways. But make no mistake, her consistent play down low is what keeps this team cooking.
Zakiyah Franklin (21 pts, 3 reb, 1 ast, 2 stl, against Maine)
What a huge performance from Franklin, as she easily got her highest output of the season. The move to the bench hasn't affected her ability to make big plays and get involved on both ends of the floor, and she tallied the most minutes of any Jayhawk.
Fun Facts
Zakiyah Franklin became the 31st player to score 1,000 points in a Jayhawk uniform with a three-point field goal late in the first quarter in yesterday's game.
