Game Primer: How To Watch, Things to Know for Texas at Kansas

In this story:
The Kansas Jayhawks come back home for Senior Day, looking to add to their highest win total in a season since the 2008-09 season. Standing in their way are the Texas Longhorns, a team that has never beaten the Jayhawks under head coach Steve Sarkisian. Last season, the Jayhawks won down in Austin in an overtime thriller that Lance Leipold credited as the start of the turnaround for this program.
Kansas is no longer receiving votes in the polls, but they have been ranked as high as #19. Texas is receiving votes in both polls, and were ranked as high as 18th, which they were last week before their loss to TCU.
Texas leads the all-time series 16-4, including a 7-3 record in Lawrence. The last win for the Jayhawks at home came on November 19th, 2016 in a 24-21 overtime win.
