The Kansas Jayhawks are entering the home stretch of their schedule, with only five matches left to make their case for being included in the NCAA Tournament. A win today against the ranked Baylor Bears would be a huge resume boost.

The Jayhawks are not currently ranked. The last time they were receiving votes in the AVCA Coaches Poll was the last time these two team met on October 1st, but they have been ranked as high as #19 this season. The Bears come in at #11.

Baylor leads the all-time series 30-26, including the last four meetings between these two squads. Head coach Ray Bechard has a record of 24-24 against the Bears

The Jayhawks have multiple players who are in the Top 10 in various stats:

  • Lauren Dooley 5th in hitting percentage at .375 and 7th in blocks/set at 1.11
