Antonio Reeves is listed on the Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award watchlist

In this story:
Antonio Reeves is going to be the motor that makes this Kentucky basketball team run, and that role will make him one of the best college basketball players in the nation.
Reeves is in his second year in Lexington and will look to increase his numbers from a year ago in hopes of averaging 18 points or more.
Reeves is on a team full of young five-star talent but will likely be the guy who Cal wants to take over late in a ball games and be the one who takes the last-second shot when the opportunity presents itself.
We found out via the Kentucky basketballs social media pages that Reeves was named to the Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award watchlist heading into the 2023-24 season.
People are sleeping on Reeves in the national media, but at Wildcats Today, we have a susception that he could put together an All-American type super senior season.
Hopefully, if Reeves is able to put together a really good season, the NBA will take notice because every team in the league can use a reliable shooter.
Congrats to Reeves for receiving these preseason accolades, but watch out because he could put together an amazing season and win this award if all goes to plan for the Illinois State transfer.
