Kentucky Reportedly Interested in USC Transfer Forward Tre White

In this story:
As the Hunter Dickinson sweepstakes has taken center stage around Kentucky basketball, the Wildcats are still trying to add supporting pieces to its 2023-24 roster.
Previous names that have been mentioned are off the board, as Dalton Knecht (Northern Colorado) and Chris Ledlum (Harvard) have both committed to Tennessee, while Harrison Ingram (Stanford) has committed to North Carolina. On Sunday, a new name of interest was brought to light.
Tre White was a top-40 player in the 2022 class, coming out of Prolific Prep in Los Angeles. The 6-foot-7, 190-pound forward, originally from Dallas, stayed in LA and committed to USC to play for the Trojans.
As a freshman, he played in 33 games and averaged 9.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and an assist-per-game. He shot 47.4 percent from the floor, 26.5 percent from 3-point range and 69 percent from the free-throw line. He had 13 games with 10 or more points, including a season-high 22 points, eight rebounds and four assists in a Pac 12 win over Washington on Feb. 4.
On April 19, it was announced that White was entering the transfer portal. On April 23, CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein reported a list of teams that are reportedly interested in the forward, including Kentucky:
USC transfer Tre White tells me that he's receiving interest from the following programs:

Kentucky was never in White's recruitment out of high school. He chose USC over the likes of Kansas, LSU and Illinois. The Tigers could be one to watch as he maneuvers through the portal.
