Like last season, the Kentucky basketball team will have a bunch of talented freshmen on the 2024-25 roster.

Heading into last season, Big Blue Nation didn't know which freshman would lead the team in scoring. Some thought it would be DJ Wagner or Justin Edwards, but it ended up being Rob Dillingham.

When you ask this question for next year's squad, folks will more than likely guess that Boogie Fland will lead the freshmen in scoring. While that very well could be the case, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Jayden Quaintance, Karter Knox, or Billy Richmond score the most points per game among the freshmen.

Travis Perry is an elite scorer, but what his role will be next season for the Wildcats is a mystery, making it hard to see him lead the freshmen in scoring.

If I had to pick one name as my guess to lead the freshmen in scoring, it would be Fland. He is an elite scorer and should shoot at a pretty high clip from deep next season.

Quaintance could be a sleeper to lead the freshman in scoring, as he will be a monster in college once he is ready physically. During the McDonald's All-American Game, Quaintance was an elite rebounder, and he scored a lot of points around the rim.

This freshman class has a lot of raw talent, so seeing how these players develop during their first few months in Lexington could change my opinion on who leads the "Diaper Dandies" in scoring. Right now, I would have to guess Fland.
