LOUISVILLE, Ky. - With the 2023 WNBA All-Star Game just a couple days away, we have officially reached the halfway point of the 2023 WNBA season. While there weren't any former Louisville women's basketball players voted as All-Stars, several former Cards have made an impact across the association.

As of Jul. 13, there have been five former Cardinals play in a WNBA regular season game this year: A.D., Liz Dixon, Emily Engstler, Dana Evans and Myisha Hines-Allen.

How have they performed in the WNBA just past the halfway point of the season? Take a look below:

Stats from games played through Jul. 12, 2023

A.D.

Position: Shooting Guard
Team: Atlanta Dream
Measurables: 5-foot-10, 151-pounds

A.D. is currently in their first full season with Atlanta after being acquired in a trade from the New York Liberty last season. While she has played in every one of the Dream's games so far this season, her role has been minimal, as she is averaging the fourth-least amount of minutes on the team. Though she has had four double-digit outputs so far this season, including a season-high 15 points vs. Washington on June 30.

Liz Dixon

Position: Power Forward
Team: Phoenix Mercury/Connecticut Sun
Measurables: 6-foot-5, 195-pounds
Years at UofL: 2019-23

Dixon went unselected in April's WNBA Draft, but she has been able to hang onto a roster spot for much of the season up to this point. She signed a training camp deal with Phoenix, but only played one game for them before being waived in late May. She signed a deal with Connecticut in early June and has appeared in four games since, totaling four points, two rebounds, an assist and a block.

Emily Engstler

Position: Power Forward
Team: Indiana Fever/Washington Mystics/Minnesota Lynx
Measurables: 6-foot-1, 180-pounds
Years at UofL: 2021-22

It's been a journey for Engstler this season. After being the No. 4 overall pick by the Fever just last year, Indiana waived her in April. She had a brief stint with the Mystics in training camp, but didn't earn a regular season contract until mid-June when the Lynx picked her up, and she has been there since. She has mainly been a bench piece, only averaging 7.5 minutes per game so far.

Dana Evans

Position: Point/Shooting Guard
Team: Chicago Sky
Measurables: 5-foot-6, 145-pounds
Years at UofL: 2017-21

Evans has had the best season out of any former Cardinal up to this point in the season. While her shooting percentages are a little down, the third-year guard is the first person off the bench for Chicago, and she is third in assists per game on the team while fifth in scoring.

Myisha Hines-Allen

Position: Forward
Team: Washington Mystics
Measurables: 6-foot-1, 200-pounds
Years at UofL: 2014-18

Hines-Allen is the most tenured out of the active former Cardinals in the WNBA, as she is in the midst of her sixth season - all with Washington. While her overall production has been a steady decline since her breakout 2020 campaign, she is still regular rotational piece for the Mystics, even earning a pair of starts.
