Louisville Welcoming Several '24 Prospects for Another Big June Recruiting Weekend

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Last weekend, the Louisville football took a big step forward in terms of recruiting in the Class of 2024, hosting multiple prospects and commits for official visits. Now, the Cardinals are primed to do it again.
For the weekend of June 9-11 - the second of three major recruiting weekends planned by the Cardinals this month - 11 recruits have either announced on social media or confirmed via 247Sports they they will be taking official visits to campus.
While none of the expected visitors are current Louisville commits, unlike last week, they are hosting three prospects that are committed elsewhere and are actively working to flip. Pascagoula (Miss.) HS defensive lineman Jeffery Rush (Ole Miss), Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes wide receiver Joseph Stone (LSU) and Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove cornerback Lakhi Roland (Maryland) are all planning on flying in.
On top of that, the Cardinals are hosting a quartet of players that are regarded as top-500 prospects according to the 247Sports Composite. This includes Rush, Stone, Tyler (Tex.) HS athlete Derrick McFall (who had to reschedule his visit that was slated for last weekend) and Forsyth (Ga.) Mary Person running back Duke Watson.
