From The Pink Seats: 'Where Are They Now?' w/ Lorenzo Mauldin, Devon Thomas and Greg Brohm

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - With the offseason in full swing, "From The Pink Seats" is debuting a new mini-series dubbed "Where Are They Now?"

Over the next few weeks, Louisville Report deputy editor Matt McGavic, State of Louisville co-founders Jacob Lane & Presley Meyer and former UofL fullback/student assistant coach Vincent Lococo will be interviewing notable alumni from the Louisville football program. We have a trio of episodes to get things started.

First is an interview with former linebacker Lorenzo Mauldin, who is currently the reigning Canadian Football League Most Outstanding Defensive Player with the Ottawa Redblacks. Mauldin recaps his career as a Cardinal, how he became one of the most dominant and intimidating forces in the ACC, takes a look at his career in the NFL and the CFL, and dives into how streaming has become a big time hobby.

Next up is former defensive lineman Devon Thomas, who is now the senior associate athletic director at Gonzaga. Thomas relives some of the glory years under John L. Smith, including incredible recruiting and practice stories, as well as details around some of the biggest moments in Louisville football history. Then, the guys dive into his career in athletics, including one moment changed everything, how it has taken him from Louisville to Idaho to Florida to Washington, and how he's helping to inspire his son to make history.

Rounding things out is a chat with current Louisville football chief of staff Greg Brohm. He recounts his experience playing under Howard Schnellenberger, including how he and his brother Jeff have been impacted as coaches, as well as what it was like competing in the Cards' first ever BCS victory, and more. Then, Greg takes us through his career since football came to an end, including "all the places he will go" including serving as a teacher, marketer, sales director, and football staffer.
